Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar (I use brown sugar)
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup dry white wine (Pinot Grigio)
- 3 cups seltzer water (I used berry flavor)
- Frozen Cranberry Skewers 6 cranberries on kabob sticks made from 2 Fresh Rosemary sticks (frozen)
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, heat the sugar, cranberry sauce, orange zest, and water over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Simmer for 3 minutes and then remove from the heat. Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes, then chill.
- Place ice into 4 glasses; pour ¼ cup cranberry syrup into each glass. Add ¼ cup white wine, if using, the juice from a wedge of lemon and ¾ cup seltzer to each glass.
- Garnish w/ Frozen Cranberry Skewers; 6 to 8 cranberries on a rosemary kabob: remove rosemary leaves except the tips and add cranberries to stems then freeze for 15 mins. or until frozen.
