Adulting isn’t for the faint at heart!
adult·ing/əˈdəltiNG,ˈaˌdəltiNG/nounINFORMAL
- the practice of behaving in a way characteristic of a responsible adult, especially the accomplishment of mundane but necessary tasks.
- Adulting is an informal term to describe behavior that is seen as responsible and grown-up. This behavior often involves meeting the mundane demands of independent and professional living, such as paying bills and running errands.
Who’s with me on this? Adulting is HARD! I don’t want to be responsible any longer and I don’t want to be the one that has to keep it all together or it all falls apart if I don’t! Should I just let it all fall apart? Or do I jump in and put the pieces together and then be told I’m a controlling person? Lol! 🤔
Adulting means making hard decisions and I have a string of them looming around. 🥺
I don’t know about you but sometimes I want to be a kid again back in my childhood neighborhood of Windsor Hills playing hop scotch, riding bikes, hanging with my childhood friends without a worry in the world because it’s my parents job to worry. Lol!
This actual seems like an eternity ago…Oh it was an eterrnity ago and I’ve been an adult for a long time with my own children to raise and add taking care of aging parents. Sometimes it seems so overwhelming and I struggle with making the right decisions but I guess no one gets to escape being an adult.
Well we all know people who avoid the responsibilities of adulting and there constant complaining but these people are always looking for someone to fix there problems instead of fixing their own problems. Basically users that will blame anyone and everyone of their inability to grow up and handle their own issues.
But guess what, if you don’t handle your responsibilities then they just pile up on you…so it’s best to jump right in on your “Adulting” like a “G” and handle your business like a pro!
Let’s GO!
