Daily Skincare Routine

Let me tell you how serious I have always been about my skincare routine! I have always spent big money on great skin products because I realized at a very young age that if you take care of your skin you could slow down the aging process. And to date, I’ve been doing pretty good but we all could use a little more and I’m always on the hunt for the best skincare products on the market ranging from expensive to not expensive. I really do use a variety of products but here’s my go-to’s for now!

Morning Skincare Routine

In the morning, I start by cleansing with Paul Scerri dry and sensitive skin beauty milk and follow up with Paul Scerri ph balancing lotion which I’ve been using for over 25 years! What I love about this beauty milk is that is gentle on the skin. It almost has a milky consistency which doesn’t strip my skin of moisture.

I follow with a vitamin c serum at the moment I using Koza and then a few drops of Lancome youth activating concentrate. Regardless of how rushed I am, this is process is mandatory like brushing my teeth. It gives my skin a glow and helps my other makeup products absorb more fully into my skin.

After my serums, I follow up with my Paul Scerri Osmovital Creme de jour anti-aging cream as my moisturizer. It absorbs so well into the skin and hydrates without feeling heavy or greasy. I also add Perricone MD cold plasma sub-D/Neck creme to help keep it’s youthfulness. Actually, I had seen a big imporvement in my neck lines it’s has repaired the wrinkles that I was seeing before I started using this prodcut. I don’t use much of it because this one is super expensive, but it definitely firms and I can see dramatic difference since using this product!

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the past couple of months is that taking time to let the products sink in makes a big difference! In between each step, I typically wait 1-2 minutes minimum. I’ll take that time to brush my teeth, get my self organized for the day, or whatever else needs to be done! It may not be the most time-effective, but by letting the products set in, it really helps them absorb better! My makeup goes on better as a result too!

Sunscreen is so important for everyone out there, not only because of harmful rays that could cause sunburns and skin cancer. The sun is also the biggest cause of premature aging!  You can pick a good product out by paying attention to the ingredient list, your own skin type, and your personal schedule. My favorite moPaul Scerri Osmovital Creme de jour has sunscreen

Evening Skincare Routine

At night, my routine is a little bit different. I tend to rotate through more products and don’t have a set daily skincare routine I follow. Regardless of the other products I’m using, I always start by cleansing my face to remove my makeup, every night! This is super important because if you leave makeup products over night wrinkles will follow so please cleanse your face overnight!

The serums I rotate through for nighttime Lancome youth activating concentrate , Olay regenerist luminous overnight mask which hydratants the skin or Roc multi correxion 5 in 1 restoring night cream. For each, I mix one pump with that same Lancome youth serium that I also use in the morning! And a few nights a week I will use my face roller after I apply all my products to help reduce the lines and wrinkles!
