Fall Things to do in LA This Year!

Happy first day of fall!!! This is an exciting time in any year, but in 2020 especially. We’ve all just been trying to plough through this year and the changes in season can make us feel as if time is finally moving forward.

Since we are still in a pandemic but some of us do still want to feel the spooky fall vibes, I thought I’d make a list of socially-distanced fall activities to do in LA this year. Fun for families, couples, and friends, the activities you can do on this list will make you feel a little bit of normalcy even if you do have to wear a mask or stay in your car.

Enjoy a Drive-in movie!

This is a fun way to spend time with friends and family. Especially with movie theaters still being closed, it’s a nice way to get out of your house and catch a movie. Have the snacks and cozy blankets ready for this one!

See some drive-through Halloween decor at the Nights of the Jack, Freeform’s Halloween Road, and/or Haunt’oween LA!

While we can’t walk in crowds to see the hundreds of carved pumpkins at Nights of the Jack, or be spooked at Halloween Road or Haunt’oween, we can drive through and be just as amazed/spooked! Take children, friends and some snacks for the ride and get ready for some fun!

Head to Halloween at Descanso Gardens!

Go to Descanso Gardens for a socially-distanced stroll through changing leaves, a hay maze and other beautiful fall decor! Great for when you’re ready to get out of the car and do some walking.

Make Halloween treats and drinks at home!

When you’re ready to stay home and cozy up with a spooky movie, pumpkin treats and drinks are always the way to go. You can check out my Apple Pumpkintini drink from last year to start with 😉

Though fall does look very different this year, we can still make this a festive season for ourselves, families, and friends! Comment any fall activity recommendations that you might have!!
