This weekend the kids requested my yummy BLT sandwiches for their Sunday breakfast and you know what? I wanted one too..So here’s my gigantic BLT sandwich recipe with all the trimmings…Who doesn’t love bacon, fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and avocado all in one big sandwich? BLT’s remind me of when my Mom would make these tasty mouthwatering sandwiches for breakfast or dinner. We loved them and you will too !
Sandwiches can be as exotic as you like, with all sorts of fancy ingredients. But, there is nothing quite as satisfying as a classic “BLT”. Its secret is the perfect balance of salty bacon, crisp lettuce and fresh tomato for the classic BLT but baby I took it up a notch! A near-perfect balance of sweet, smoky, crusty, and salty, the BLT is what food dreams are made of.
If only it were healthy to eat bacon and mayo on a daily basis.
Save this recipe for this coming weekend…
