My Father’s Peach Cobbler recipe is absolutely delicious! Juicy peaches and a wonderfully sweet, crumbly topping truly make this a perfect Thanksgiving dessert. Add ice cream or whipped cream and it’s pure heaven!

My big brother Eric decided it was time to teach me how our father made his infamous Peach Cobbler and I couldn’t wait to learn! We had so much fun and it’s perfect timing for this year’s holidays!

This is definitely a take on an easy southern peach cobbler. It’s an old fashioned recipe from my father. I remember while growing up this was my dad’s favorite surprise for us kids, his delicious warm peach cobbler as a treat. The house always smelled delicious when you walked in the front door and a fresh homemade pie was in the oven.

This Peach Cobbler recipe is actually really easy to make and your family will love it! Make it with canned peaches, frozen peaches, or even fresh peaches!

Our Dad always used canned peaches, but of course, you can use fresh peaches too. If using fresh peaches, they do need to be peeled. This is the perfect dessert recipe for any time of the year! I absolutely love when peaches are in season and I bite into a perfectly ripe peach. Put them in a pie or cobbler and my sweet tooth will have me hooked.

But sometimes I want the taste of a homemade cobbler and don’t have fresh peaches around. Or sometimes on a cold and dreary winter day, I know that a warm cobbler topped with ice cream is just the comfort we need. I break out this easy Peach Cobbler Recipe and in about an hour, we have a homemade cobbler ready to serve!

This recipe makes an 8×8 cobbler but you could make multiples or a larger cobbler by increasing the measurements.

Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe is the kind of stuff that yummy dreams are made of. Juicy, sweet peaches and a fabulous topping that’s sweet with crisp sugary edges, you’ll swear it was made by Grandpa.

This recipe doesn’t scream HEALTHY in any form, but you know what? Sometimes a girl’s gotta eat. You, as well. And if that includes a pan of peach cobbler, then be it. At least it’s mostly fruit that we’re eating, amiright?!
