kcalCantelope and prosciutto are a classic combination. Our version of this appetizer adds basil for a spicy bite and mozzarella for creaminess.
Ingredients
½ Cantaloupe cut into bite sized pieces
15 Fresh mozzarella mini balls
2 Cups Fresh basil
10 Slices of prosciutto cut into 3-4 strips each
Skewers or toothpicks
¼ Cup Balsamic optional
Directions
- Assemble melon, mozzarella, basil, and prosciutto on skewers. Position completed skewers on a plate. Drizzle the balsamic over the skewers and serve immediately. If making ahead, assemble skewers, arrange on plate, cover with plastc wrap and refrigerate. Drizzle balsamic right before serving.
