Salmon Burgers…

It’s Fish Tuesday and I’m adding my Salmon Burgers recipe to my traditional line up of Hamburgers for this 4th of July celebration…

Ali in the Valley

Ingredients

  1. 4 pre-made Salmon Burgers from Trader Joe’s
  2. 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
  3. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  4. 1 small white onion thinly sliced
  5. 4 hamburger buns or English muffins lightly toasted
  6. Lettuce and tomatoes garnish
  7. 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  8. Homemade Tartar Sauce Ingredients:
  9. 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  10. 1 teaspoon mustard
  11. 1/4 cup lemon juice
  12. dash hot sauce
  13. salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the sliced onions and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Season the Salmon patties with seasoning salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the cooked onions from skillet and set aside
  4. Add the Salmon patties and cook about 5 minutes each side, or until nicely browned.
  5. In a small bowl mix the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
  6. Use sauce for the patties.
  7. Assemble the Salmon burgers with homemade tartar sauce on buns add lettuce,tomatoes, salmon patties, grilled onions, top with tartar sauce and bun! Yum!
