It’s Fish Tuesday and I’m adding my Salmon Burgers recipe to my traditional line up of Hamburgers for this 4th of July celebration…

Ingredients
- 4 pre-made Salmon Burgers from Trader Joe’s
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 small white onion thinly sliced
- 4 hamburger buns or English muffins lightly toasted
- Lettuce and tomatoes garnish
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- Homemade Tartar Sauce Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- dash hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the sliced onions and cook for 5 minutes.
- Season the Salmon patties with seasoning salt and pepper.
- Remove the cooked onions from skillet and set aside
- Add the Salmon patties and cook about 5 minutes each side, or until nicely browned.
- In a small bowl mix the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
- Use sauce for the patties.
- Assemble the Salmon burgers with homemade tartar sauce on buns add lettuce,tomatoes, salmon patties, grilled onions, top with tartar sauce and bun! Yum!
