Eating and Nutrition in My Fifties!

In my fifties, I have to be more careful about what I eat. I’m putting so much hard work and sweat into my body, I don’t want that to be thrown out the window every time I have a meal. Yes, I still enjoy myself and have the amazing foods I want when I really want them, but staying disciplined day to day, is what allows me this freedom.

Here’s what an average day of food looks like for me:

In the mornings I eat oatmeal, maybe a strong cup of coffee or tea, and water with collagen.

For lunch, I usually eat a salad. I switch it up with vegetables, proteins, and salad dressings I use to keep it fresh.

For dinner I eat a piece of fish, and vegetables.

Throughout the day I also drink water with lemon.

This is something I try to stick to strictly throughout the week, so on the weekends I can have my cocktail and a really delicious meal. As I said, we work so hard on our bodies, it’s important to have a diet that supports that!
