Melon Basil Prosciutto Mozzarella Bites

Cantelope and prosciutto are a classic combination. Our version of this appetizer adds basil for a spicy bite and mozzarella for creaminess.

Ingredients

  • ½ Cantaloupe cut into bite sized pieces

  • 15 Fresh mozzarella mini balls

  • 2 Cups Fresh basil

  • 10 Slices of prosciutto cut into 3-4 strips each

  • Skewers or toothpicks

  • ¼ Cup Balsamic optional

Directions

  • Assemble melon, mozzarella, basil, and prosciutto on skewers. Position completed skewers on a plate. Drizzle the balsamic over the skewers and serve immediately. If making ahead, assemble skewers, arrange on plate, cover with plastc wrap and refrigerate. Drizzle balsamic right before serving.
