Chicken Salad & Introducing “Out Of The Fire with Alison Ball”

I just launched my new podcast OOTF (Out of the Fire). It came out of a very real place in my life – the parts of growth that don’t feel clean or linear, but force you to shift, rebuild, and keep going anyway.

I’ve been sitting with this new chapter for a while, and it finally feels right to share it here.

At its core, OOTF is about resilience, reinvention, and honest conversations with people who have lived through change and are still figuring things out in real time.

It’s not about having answers. It’s about being willing to talk through the process.

Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 whole rotisserie chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped grapes
  • 1/2 cup chopped red apples
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt + pepper, to taste
