Recipe Rewind: Easy Baby Back Ribs

Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the flavor has to! 🌞🍖 This week I’m bringing back my Easy Baby Back Ribs — the ultimate way to close out the season. Think tender, juicy ribs with that sticky BBQ glaze that screams backyard fun. Perfect for Labor Day weekend, poolside hangs, or one last summer cookout with family and friends.

Ingredients:

  • 2 racks baby back ribs (about 4 lbs total)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Directions:

  1. Prep the ribs: Preheat your oven to 300°F. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for extra tenderness.
  2. Season: Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub ribs with olive oil, then coat evenly with seasoning mix.
  3. Bake: Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, cover tightly with foil, and bake for 2 hours until tender.
  4. Finish: Brush ribs with BBQ sauce and broil on high for 3–5 minutes until caramelized and sticky.
  5. Serve & enjoy: Slice between the bones and serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side!
